E1 Application Failure Records (p95400)

E1 Tools 8.98 程序p95400，可以对应用程序交易失败的记录进行查看，帮助客户管理失败的交易，如果JAS 是启动的，JAS将会检测交易的失败并且保存交易的数据在数据库中，通过emai通知系统管理员和最终用户，用户上线后，可以查看到保存的数据并可以重新提交这个交易。

这支增强程序提供机会给用户恢复交易数据在交易提交之前，或是程序崩溃，或是服务器反应慢，或是JAS与Enterprise Server之间的网络原因

数据保存以XML的格式保存在表F95400中，对于交易界面，所有的可视控制与数据栏位都保持下来了，对于浏览器界面，没有数据保存。

用户可以设置邮件提醒当交易失败的时候，然后用户会收到一个快捷方式指向P95400 .

E1 9.0 Demo (Oracle DB) Installed

My laptop environment:
Windows XP professional SP3 (English); 2G memory; For JDE disk space:20G

install step:
1. Download three files include language with oracle db from edeliver.oracle.com
V14265-01_1of3.zip : 1.33G, V14265-01_2of3.zip : 1.50G,V14265-01_3of3.zip : 543M

2. Unzip three file in a folder d:\standalone900\oracle\

3. Create a folder in JDE install folder g:\Oracle

4. Run d:\standalone900\oracle\InstallManager.exe

5. First setup the oracle db environment, next will pop you to restart you computer when finish install oracle db.

6. reRun d:\standalone900\oracle\InstallManager.exe

7. Install the JDK (1.5 u 6)

8. copy the four folders(bin; jre ;include; lib) from the JDK instll folder to G:\E900\SYSTEM\JDK

The disk space expense16.8 G after install oracle&jde.

The Oracle DB standalone include several Language.

How to change the date that defaults into Effective Thru on Bills of Materials?

The Effective Thru ( EFFT ) date is in some fields, like BOM Effective Date, Lot Effective Date,Etc...
default value is 2010/12/31, Now you can change it in DD:Century Change Year(CENTCHG). set it's default value to 30 or 40, 50. The Effective Thru Date can be to 2030/12/31,2040/12/31,2050/12/31.

E1 9.0 STANDALONE INSTALLED ON VISTA

Several days ago, i installed the E1 9.0 standalone on Windows Vista home version. The database is SSE(Sql Server Express)

The process of install is successful, but pop-up an error message box when i login in the JDE, the message is "unable to locate Security server".

Through lots of testing, analysis the log file, close the firewall and UAC(User Account Control), change the StartAppServer=ONDEMAND on section [LOCALWEB] in the JDE.INI, Etc, It's failed.

Finally I ready to leave, when I start the firewall , and login in again , The Solution Explorer appeared, It's OK, after start the UAC, the error message still pop-up.

SO, if u will installed the E1 on Vista, you must close the UAC, and start the firewall.

E1 9.0 Standalone Oracle Local Database Login

JDE Authorization

当安装完DEMO后，需要进行license验证，有很多人不知道怎么使用，有三种方法可以处理。
第一种方法，使用官方最新的程序：
到http://licensecodes.oracle.com/e1.html下载 SPCSelfService.exe (48 Kb)
打开EnterpriseOne Solution Explorer，打开验证程序:


可以看到serial number ，每次的号码都不一样，

然后打开SPCSelfService.EXE：
在serial number 栏位填上刚才的号码，Number of 填写为1，然后点解OK按钮，

系统就出现了SPC CODE,一并记下expiration的日期

回到验证程序：

填写Expiration Date上面记住的日期，注意日期格式的变化，
填写Authorization Code为上面的SPC code。
填写Number of client licenses:1
点击OK就可以使用了,这种方法比较麻烦，但是确是官方的做法。

第二种方法：有一支安装程序，目前没有找到下载地址，安装完后在验证的画面有一个菜单"Get Auth"直接可以帮你计算Authorization Code:

这种方法的优点是操作简单，缺点是需要安装另外一个程序，普通用户是没法下载。

第三种方法是修改JDE.ini文件, 在开始-->运行中输入 JDE.INI，可以快速打开JDE.INI文件：
在[DB SYSTEM SETTINGS]加入一行
BDSEC=ROBIN

这种属于非官方的做法。

这三种方法在E812,E810中测试通过，但是EnterpriseOne 9.0 DEMO是不需要验证。

JDE EnterpriseOne 9.0 与812的一些变化比较

美化登陆界面,看上去更美观.


主界面有些变化, 增加了贴心的启动应用程序时最小化菜单的选项,及工作中心链接.


菜单中报表用圆点来区别于程序; 程序中的工具栏不会随滚动条滚动,用户操作更方便.


错误信息有参数可以控制了,如果取消错误弹出菜单,就不会出现在输入栏中,这个很有用,在812中是摆脱不了的.

从整体来看,并没有太大的变化,更加注重了用户的细节操作,更人性化.

EnterpriseOne 9.0 终于可以用了

按照JDELIST.COM的NGnear方法，需要修改jdbj.ini文件中[JDBj-SPEC DATA SOURCE]段的两个地方：
1.修改serverPort=3372， 3372变更为1143
2.修改databaseInstance=JDELocal 变更为JDESSELocal

jdbj.ini文件存在两个目录，需要修改的是OC4J目录下的，另一个在DEMO目录下。

JDK 用的是 1.4.2版本。
SQL 2005 JDBC 用的是1.2版本。
